Happy Left-Over Day!

Hubby and I are spending the day laying low...he's still sick.  We had a perfectly lovely Thanksgiving here yesterday.  He was too sick to go to the big family dinner so we stayed home and I made a quick dinner of chicken and my world famous cornbread and sausage stuffing.  Because as we all know...the stuffing is the important part of any Thanksgiving meal...everything else is just a condiment.  I was going to take a picture of it (originally to send to my friend who loves to take pics of food) but when I looked at it, I realized that as spectacular as it tastes...it just looks like a large baking dish of brown when it's cooked...so I didn't bother with the picture.

I've decided to spend the time today doing something constructive that I've wanted to learn for a while....how to use pictures I've downloaded to my computer.  More than that I'm going to learn how to scan pics into my computer.  I come from a long line of shutterbugs and I have thousands of pics of family, friends and places that I'd love to have access to on sites from Facebook and my blogs to pic sharing sites.  So lets give this a try....

It's not easy to get my four grandchildren (yes, I know they're adorable) to sit still together for a picture but they did here.
So now I now I can do it from my computer files to Blogger.  Now to figure out how to scan non-digital pics in....
